Flexible 2-Part Cementitious Waterproofing (Internal Wet Areas) What it is A two-part (liquid + powder) waterproofing coating that mixes into a smooth slurry and cures into a flexible, seamless membrane designed to help stop water getting into common wet areas. Good for Bathrooms, showers, laundries, kitchens, balconies, and other moisture-prone areas in new builds or renos. Why DIY customers like it - Creates a seamless waterproof layer (no joints) - Flexible membrane helps accommodate minor movement - Brush/roller friendly application - Low VOC (as stated in the TDS) Before you start (important) - This is not a finished walking surface—it needs a suitable protective layer/finish over the top. - Follow the mixing ratio and coat build guidance in the TDS for best results.

Polymer-Modified Cementitious Waterproofing Coating — Flexible Membrane Type / chemistry Two-component polymer-modified cementitious coating (A: liquid, B: powder). Mix ratio by weight A:B = 1:0.8. Typical uses Internal wet areas and moisture-exposed zones: bathrooms, showers, laundries, kitchens, balconies (new build & refurbishment). Key performance (selected) - Tensile strength > 1.2 MPa - Elongation > 250% - Pull-off strength to concrete > 1.1 MPa - Crack bridging (23°C) ≈ 2 mm - VOC ≈ 0 (as stated) Application parameters (selected) - Guide consumption: 2.2–2.4 kg/m² for ~1.0 mm DFT (typically 2 coats) - For higher water ingress areas: additional coat per TDS guidance - Ambient/substrate temperature: 5°C to 40°C; RH < 85% Limitations / notes - Not trafficable—protect with a levelling screed/appropriate topping. - Cosmetic “blooming” may occur after rain/damp weather; noted as not affecting performance. - Protect fresh membrane from freezing/rain; avoid puncturing with fixings.
